Secure wires out of the way so you can work. Remove the bolts holding the VB to the trans. case. There will be two pistons that drop down with the VB. Make note of their location.

Clean your pan of all old fluid and gasket sealer. The trans pan is sealed with RTV. There is currently no gasket I am aware of.

These are the two pistons that drop down with the VB. They are different bore sizes so it's pretty hard top get them mixed up.

While holding the VB, the pistons, and your tongue at the right angle, install your first bolt or two and then let the blood return to your arms. Yeah, it's fun, but this is the hardest part of the install.

Install the rest of the bolts, your wiring, and the ground strap.
